SS-7 couplings should always be installed so that the
coupling bolt pads make metal to metal contact.
caution: The tongue and groove style rigid coupling may allow for
rotation when installed on deeper than specified grooves.
The Model SS-7 is a tongue and groove rigid coupling designed
for a variety of moderate service pressure applications. The SS-7
is supplied standard in CF8 (304) and CF8M (316) with 304 and
316 bolts and nuts.
